Yes, Stone Crabs are cooked as soon as they are taken off of the boats. We boil them for 8 minutes and then cool them off in ice and water to stop the cooking process. They are ready to eat upon arrival!
When we ship Stone Crabs they are not cracked, so that they can stay fresh for a longer period of time. Cracked claws are only available in Miami-Dade County for same day delivery.
